Matthew Kershaw Bio

Matthew has been crafting stories in filmed entertainment and marketing for over twenty-five years as a creative director, producer, writer, director, showrunner and unscripted TV development executive.  

His broad experience includes both scripted and unscripted television and digital content in multiple countries, in addition to digital, television and radio advertising.

Projects included video, social, strategy development, experiential and interactive projects, out-of-home and print, photography, title sequence animation, motion graphics, key art and illustration, experiential, as well as branding and identity projects for branding, marketing, and public relations.

Matthew has written, directed and produced short form content in a variety of different genres, from documentary to scripted comedy, talk shows to broadcast & digital commercials.  

He has produced digital series for CW Seed, Verizon Go90, AwesomenessTV, and television series and specials for National Geographic, Slice, Animal Planet, CBC, MuchMusic, Food and more.

Matthew has created branded entertainment content for the Marriot Content Studio, Sheraton Hotels, Disney Cruise Lines, Moxy Hotels, Edmunds.com, Dollywood & Herschend Family Entertainment, SeaWorld, and Mayweather Boxing + Fitness.

Talent directed includes Dolly Parton, Jon Stewart, influencers Amanda Cerny and Floyd Mayweather, on platforms such as Snapchat, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook Live.

Most recently, Matthew was the Creative Director at Remedy Television + Branded.
